The Brand
The concept of Paerangi extends the well known proverb that refers to achieving those goals or aims immediately in front of you (ko te pae tata, whakamaua kia tina) while always striving to get closer to those distant goals on the horizon (ko te pae tawhiti, whaia kia tata).

Paerangi represents the ultimate journey in pursuit of excellence, asking students to aim beyond the distant horizon, and to shoot for the heavens or the stars. Paerangi contains a notion of risk, and of the unknown, in that what lies beyond, within the heavens, is unexplored.
